A detailed description of what you will be bringing / doing to help us maintain our policy of reduced duplication of crafts.
See note on conditions (below) We reserve the right to refuse the display of products not informed to us beforehand either on
the grounds of poor quality or duplication of other stall holders.
We are this year joining forces every month with Hampshire Farmers' Markets to make a bigger event taking up both the High Street, Market
Square and Cross and Pillory Lane. This year we will be starting the fair from the junction of the High Street and Cross and Pillory Lane
filling out into the square to help draw the two markets together, providing a continuous feed through of people rather than it looking
like two totally different markets.
We would also like to encourage our craft workers to bring their own gazebos as this reduces the investment
and manpower required to maintain and erect gazebo cover in the square. (eg The most recent purchased pop up gazebo including foot weights
cost £450.) The cost to use our gazebos will be maintained at £25 a stall while using your own remains at £12 a stall. (The cost of
tables will also remain at £2 each with these proceeds going to Alton Community Centre.)
All money raised from these Craft fairs will be going to help local charitable causes through Alton Lions so we hope that you will be
able to support us by having a stall.
We offer a discount on fair prices to encourage regular stall holders. Prices will be discounted by 5% for booking two Fairs
and 10% off more than three booked at the same time. To qualify for discount they must all be paid in full at time of sending
in this form as your booking. This discount will be disallowed where bookings are subsequently cancelled. The price of tables
is not included for discount.
