The Tours

Short Tour (1 – 1 1/2 hour duration)

Around the centre of Alton taking in Fanny Adams grave, St Lawrence Church and Museums

Full Tour ( 2 hour duration)

Around the centre of Alton taking in Fanny Adams grave, St Lawrence Church and Museums allowing time to answer questions more fully about the Heritage of Alton.

A copy of “A Stroll Around Alton” a souvenir booklet containing a map and major features of the tour, is given to each adult walker. (extra copies 25p)

Groups Bookings

  1. Combine with a visit to Jane Austens House at Chawton
  2. Combine with a ride on the watercress Line either from Alton or Alresford – 10 miles of beautiful countryside.
  3. In depth tour of Curtis Museum and Allen Gallery (A ploughman’s lunch or afternoon tea can be arranged)

Lunch at one of renowned hostelries can be arranged for all group tours.
